Oregon Increasing Massage Fees April 1

The Oregon Board of Massage Therapists (Board) issued final rules that increase massage therapy fees by about 35 percent to rebalance the 2023-2025 budget. The fee changes take effect April 1, 2025. To help you prepare, a list of the new fees follows.

Professional Licenses

• Initial license: $270 (previously $200)
• Initial license under 12 months: $135 (previously $100)
• Temporary license: $270 (previously $200)
• Temporary license under 12 months: $135 (previously $100)
• Active license renewal: $270 (previously $200)
• Inactive license renewal: $135 (previously $100)
• Mid-cycle inactive to active renewal: $135 (previously $100)

Facility Permits

• Initial facility permit: $270 (previously $200)
• Facility permit ownership transfer: $335 (previously $250)
• Facility name change: $335 (previously $250)

Miscellaneous

• Application processing: $135 (previously $100)
• Practical exam: $350 (previously $150)
• Mailing list: $135 (previously $100)
• License verification: $125 (previously $100)
