What are the initial licensing requirements in my state?
Obtain 500 education hours, pass the MBLEx or the Texas Massage exam, submit a fingerprint background check, send a copy of school transcripts, and complete the jurisprudence exam (not required if you take the state exam).
What are the licensing renewal requirements in my state?
Licenses must be renewed every two years. Show proof of 12 hours of CE.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) issued proposed rules that would create a process to verify certain applicant's eligibility for initial or renewal licensure based on an individual's citizenship or immigration status.
