What are the initial licensing requirements in my state?
Obtain 750 education hours, pass the MBLEx or NCBTMB exam, and submit a criminal background check.
What are the licensing renewal requirements in my state?
Licenses must be renewed every two years. 12 CE hours must be completed hands-on in classroom. Credit hours cannot be carried over into the next renewal cycle.
Are some practitioners exempt from licensure?
Individuals practicing healing by manipulating the energy field or the flow of energy of the human body by means other than the manipulation of the soft tissues of the human body. A light touch or tap is not a manipulation of the soft tissues of the human body.
