The Nevada Board of Massage Therapy adopted new rules effective December 18, impacting massage therapists and structural integration practitioners. The rules clarify professional draping standards to ensure client safety and outline circumstances in which when breast massage may be permitted for therapeutic or medical purposes.

The Nevada Legislative Commission approved the Nevada Board of Massage Therapy's decision to increase the minimum education hour requirement for massage therapy students and to retire the International Therapy Examination Counsel (ITEC) exam for license applicants.
